Why Confusion

D. Hijja moon that begins the Islamic month was SEEN in the evening of Oct. 6, 2013 (making Oct. 7 the first date of the holy month.

Eid al-Adha date by the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) is Wednesday, October 16, 2013.

Saudi/ISNA BLUNDER: Saudi authorities, as usual, claimed DH moon sighting in the evening of Sat. Oct. 5, 2013.

Saudi religious authorities have been misusing  "A'raabi" or "30-days completed" Hadith texts for decades to hide their blunders and impose blatantly WRONG Hijri dates of Ramadan and Eidain.

If a crescent moon was actually sighted anywhere in Saudi Arabia then there is NO REASON why was the moon NOT SEEN in N. America (S. Africa, S. America, etc.) 8-11 hours later on Sat. Oct. 5, 2013.

Some Saudi apologist talk of GLOBAL moon-sighting. Do they really know what Global sighting means?

The Earth is a Globe. The crescent moon is SEEN every month on 4-5 FIRST dates in various parts of the globe. The earth is NOT A FLAT FIELD.

Islamic Calendar

The Ummah does not have a workable Islamic calendar because the Muslims:
    1. Don't agree on when to begin the Islamic month Ulema and Experts both are confused);
    2. False eye-witnesses (who unashamedly LIE month after month)
    3. Naive Calendar-Committee members who are manipulated for WRONG DATES.

I was NOT able to see the crescent, even through a telescope.
I planned to observe this crescent in the afternoon.  The moon was to occult Spica at 14:50, so acquiring the moon should have been easy.  It wasnít.  I didnít even see Spica.  If I hadnít acquired other stars during daylight, I would have thought that something was wrong with my telescope.  I followed the FOV where the moon should have been visible all the way to the horizon.  I donít know what to blame the negative observation on.
